Missing 5 star shards after claiming milestone in arenas

So i had about 7000 and some change of 5 star shards last night. I woke up and hit the anniversary arena and hit a milestone to claim another 1000 shards. After claiming that i checked my stash and now i only have exactly 1000 shards. Anyone else have this issue?
