Why doesn't the 150% and 200% special power boost work all the time?

I'm in war, doing a fight...I do an sp2, I can see my power regen 200%, I do another one... it doesn't do anything... And no, the node isn't preventing the power gain. I guess it says "up to"...meaning, it can do 1% every time...lol

    It’s a random value from 0-150/200% based on how much % health you take away from the opponent.

    Like others have said. it is both based on the damage you do with your special 2 or 3. But if you fight someone that has a class advantage over you, it will not work.
    For example if you use a tech champ against a cosmic champ. You will not gain the power from the boost.

    There’s no randomness at all, idk where that came from. A 200% boost will give back 2 times the % of the health loss of the opponent. If you take 20% off the opponent with an sp2, you get back 40% power

    yup. so boosts in lol or abyss will be pretty useless
