Gifting event points not registering

Hi all, i recently joined a new alliance and for some reason all my crystals i have gifted have not registered to the gifting alliance event? I get that i shouldn’t be able to get the rewards until i have been at an alliance for a certain amount of time but shouldn’t the points still register ready for when i can join in the event?

Or at least kabam should make it very clear if you gift any thing before you have been in your alliance long enough your points will just be lost. I have wasted 1200 units

    This was made clear on the announcement. You will only be able to contribute points to the alliance event when you are a member of that alliance for at least 14 days

    Ah ok fair point then, was that in game as well? I don't really come on the forum much. Maybe a warning before you gift would be nice, i would have 100% waited if i realised what i was doing

    Yep. There was an in game mail about it.
