Account sharing

I play on an android device and as such I have zero chance of ever getting a legend tag for time attack on a monthly quest.

If I borrowed my sister's iPhone and did a legend run would that flag up as account sharing?

I know Kabam say if you're playing your account it doesn't matter what device you're on but we all know Kabam ban with no chance for appeal and won't even tell you why you've been banned.

How can they know it's me playing my account on my sister's device and not me getting someone to do it for me?

IP's can be seen by Kabam when you connect to their game. In essence, if you're connected to wifi at all, they'll be able to see the account connecting from the same IP address as usual. If you're using cellular data, I'm guessing (but not sure) that it'd be about the same thing; which cell tower the phone may be connecting through?

Mostly guesswork based on the given fact that they can see your ip connecting. That being said, a lot of people play over VPN as well, while connected to wifi, so in the end, they can't really ban over an IP change... it's sticky upon that realisation (sticky for Kabam, though they do say in the user agreement of the game that they reserve the right to ban or revoke your account at their discretion, and without notice)

I believe not as long as your sister doesn't play the game

I'd be amazed if my sister was a secret MCOC player.

It would be a different WiFi connection.
I'd go to her house about 20 miles from my own house to do it

No they want.i asked few weeks ago. Answer was - as long as you don't share your email and password and remember to log out,you are safe. I am using my boyfriend's phone who is also a player,i explained everything to support and they said it is ok.

Until it is. They've gotten me for using 2 of the same devices and accused me of sharing.

Kabam has said that using multiple devices is not against their TOS. It's only when you share your information and have someone play for you that it becomes a problem. And 20 minutes away is not a stretch. I've known people that travel a lot and they can end up on the other side of the world in the same day. If you're not allowed to travel and play your game, why have it on a mobile device? Lol.

While Im sure there have been bans for account sharing, I would say that a large portion is that someone shared the account or used a device with a 3rd party software that red flagged it. Kabam isn't completely heartless (unless you need t2a) they get their players travel and have multiple ways of connecting to the game wifi, vpn and cell data. They take notice if you finish a run in LOL or other quest in such a short amount of time, then they can see the amount of hits taken or given in any of those fights. If a modder is running through a quest taking no damage yet knock people out with 1 - 2 hits, it most certainly gets flagged for review. So just be honest, double check any apps on the phone/tablet you are using to see if any may be deemed as 3rd party before starting your run. Good luck.
