Gambit thoughts

So I just opened a 6* featured and got gambit. At first, I wasn’t really happy about spending my first 6* featured on a Gambit, but then I started playing around with him with Apoc, Cable, Sinister, and Red Mags. Once I was playing around with that team, he was actually really fun!! Personally, I think is super underrated because he has perfect block, and destroys power shield node. If anyone has opinions or best synergy teams for him, please let me know!!

    I agree, i think is one issue is heavy reliance on crit rng off the special two. Needs horseman for that big sustainability.

    Yeah hes quite a good champion, very fun to play with and his perfect block is insanely valuable

    @Silver_Goose i completely agree that he needs big rng off the sp2, but man when I see those big yellow numbers, I feel like a little kid at a candy store, just all giddied up!!

    I use horseman Gambit all the time he is definitely worth it

    I just wish he had better synergies ( other than Apoc). Particularly I wish he worked well with Prof X, Cable, AA or Red Magneto. If I use Gambit with my Mutant team I wish he brought more to the other X-Men in particular. Also I wish the stacking stuns weren't the only way to access some of his utility. I guess concussion can impact heal as well but the stun heal/power mechanic just feels limited. The perfect block, big specials, flack jacket and stun chain are great. I like him but it's hard to justify using him as horsemen before AA or Wolverine particularly when Prof X and Magneto are also on the team.

    Got him twice from featured. He's OK, nice damage protection. Ive yet to get Apocalypse so that appears to limit him somewhat.

    As rip said I’ve been using my 6* r1 in map 5. His perfect block and long stuns are awesome. I took the last 40% of the apocalypse boss down in one try with gambit. I’ll be taking him to rank 2 eventually.

    Oh and he was my first pull from the 6* featured.
