How long does mail stay in your inbox?

I tried holding off opening my AQ rewards for a few days so I'd have max spending potential (let the store reset) and after 2 days my rewards are gone from my inbox. For future reference, anyone know max length of time the rewards stay in your inbox? Thanks in advance.

The final holding time is determined in your stash.
Some messages with rewards disappear but the rewards are still claimable from the stash.
