Grandmaster unbaitable?

I have been fighting The Grandmaster and for the living world I can't bait a single SP from him. Is this just my incompetence? What is your experience?

Ftr, he barely ever throws SP1 but neider does he throw SP2 despite my best baiting efforts.

We are talking about all phases, but mainly 2 and 3

    I've had the same problem but he eventually kept using sp1 just gotta bait far away

    It takes forever to bait a special in his third phase. He never uses the sp1, and doesn't even use the sp2 in certain scenarios

    His prompts affect his chance to throw specials, notably the strike his block makes him defensive thus he is less likely to use specials.
