5 star shards

I said I got 5 star shards from incursion and I go to crystals and the number of shards I have are still the same

    The shards update as soon as you earn them so you may not notice them creeping up.

    Or are they the same before you ran the incursion?

    Each time I get the shards I check update and nothing change
