How exactly does the Legend run work?

Now I know that it's a time attack type of challenge for in the monthly events, and you have to complete Heroic and Master mode within the time limit and place in the top 100 for the title. I also know that it starts the timer when you begin the Heroic mode and ends when you 100% complete the Master mode, but is there a certain "date" that one would have to do it on? Would I have to attempt it on the very day that the quest begins and or is there a certain number of days that I can wait before it expires?

Follow up Questions are how many refills do you recommend having prior to attempting is? Which teams do you recommend and/or did you use to complete the legend run? And also how many units do you recommend would be helpful for completing it?

    Usually they give a date when the legend run ends, usually 14 days, about 30-35 energy refills and you need full suicides and a big hitting 5* r4 and even then you have little chance as you up against the big big players.

    Yeah if you don’t have at least all 3/45s and some 4/55, you won’t get it. You will need to get about 4 hours or less to get it. Since I’m pretty sure playing normal difficulty doesn’t start the clock, so that and study the new characters/ quest fights and put together a good team for the whole heroic and master. Also look up boss nodes on utube for even more preparation. You will need a ton of assured free time if you want to make it.

    Oh, Thanks for the help. I think I understand it a little better not really a fan of suicide masteries but they sure are useful
