Psycho Man Special 1: Game crashes

So ever since the release of the Psycho Man, I have tried the complimentary 3* version in many parts of this game. But something strange and frustrating I noticed was that whenever I used his Special #1, the game always freezes up and crashes! This might not happen with newer devices, but it happens to many people! Can this glitch be fixed?

It's super annoying. Happens on my device too. I legit can't fight Psycho-Man because of this without taking a ton of block damage and pushing him to sp2.
