Help Me Solve this Mutant Chaos

I am a progressing player and have limited amount of mutant class catalysts. Would they be better spent on taking Sunspot up to rank 4, or taking Apocalypse and Cable to rank 3, making use of their synergy. I am trying to go for Act 5 Exploration and eventual Cavalier push. Thank you in advance for the answers and your time.

    some might tell you that sunspot is better because he has higher damage. don't listen to them. apoc and cable will get you a very far length in act 6 and 7, and they're infinitely better than sunspot

    Defo Apoc. Sunspot is a great champ but Apoc offers so much in syngeries and horseman ability... not to mention he's a monster even without those things.
