Advice - Returning after a year+ away, Roster help, etc.

I stopped playing pretty soon after 6.4 came out. I have completed 6.1/Cavalier, Variant 2, 3 (100%), 4, and one path of Labyrinth but nothing further. I have a ton of upgrade materials from the first 4 Variants, including tons of sig stones, etc. - but I have no idea what to do with this now that so many champions have been changed or updated since I last played.

For brevity, I'll list the awakening stones I have and only show the rank up materials in screenshots - all of these are 5* varieties:
2 Generics, 1 Cosmic, 1 Tech, 1 Mutant, 2 Skills, 2 Science, 1 Mystic.

I also have for sig stones: 105 Mutant , 50 Skill, 33 Tech, 41 Science, 98 Mystic, 100 Cosmic, 66 Generic, and 5 6* generics.

    Also - I figure Crossbones is a no-brainer with the recent update and the rank-up gem, but I'm stuck beyond that (and not sure what else I can do to progress once I get used to the gameplay again).

    Quake,mags, ghost(awaken) should be priorities. Colossus would also be a good contender for mutant ag. Corvus for cosmic ag.

    You have mutant rank 4 and rank 5 gems.
    While you were gone, mags became arguably the best mutant , I would definetly try to invest in him

    Ghost, colossus, and magneto are all really good rank ups. I also suggest ranking up venom. With those people you should be able to complete v6 pretty easily. You should also be able to complete v5 pretty easily with your current roster plus venom ranked up.
