Cav poison converting to degen?

I have only noticed this on dragon man so far. In the cav EQ 1.1, when I parry dragon man with my CAIW, my poisons convert to passive degen. Why? I can't find anything in his info or the node to support that. I took a video, but don't know how to post it for evidence.

    Dragon man degens u when u armour break him. U must have any cosmic champ on your team.
