6* Are not really fun to open

I know that 7 six stars are not really a great number of 6 stars, but I mean, only 1 of them is really usable in content. I have Mysterio and in my opinion he is best 6 star. I just opened one, I got War Machine. These are the 6 stars that I currently Have:
Black Panther Civil War
Phoenix
Mordo
Cap WWII
Spider Man Classic
War Machine
I don't really feel motivated to really open em anymore. It takes me so long to get one and this is what happens. I thought I was gonna get a 6 star to rank up. I have enough resources to rank a six star up, but I guess Imma have to wait another 2 months to get another useless 6 star.

    I was saving the resources for the 6 star, while saving. I got a few 5 stars, which should I rank Up?

    It's better with that many six stars to rank up five stars to R5 anyways. That way you'll be able to clear more content and work your way up to Cavalier if you haven't already and complete Variants to get more six stars. It'll get better - my first few six stars weren't the greatest either and then I got a Human Torch and that motivated me to clear more content to build up my six star roster.

    I love warlock. He's not the hardest hitter, but his sp2 and heavies do strong damage. He is so versatile for healing and power control with infection up. Makes buffet, aggressive regen paths feel like normal fights. He's one of the best/few counters for apocalypse and works well for Havok and domino too. All of your options are good, bit he'd be my preference.

    Then try a featured one.

    I have 7 six stars as well, and this is how I got them:

    -Prof X: featured
    -IMIW: basic
    -P2099: featured
    -Cyclops: basic
    -Hela: basic
    -Diablo: basic
    -Cap Marvel Classic: basic

    The only ones I *sometimes* use that came out of a basic, are IMIW (and Cyclops in AQ). I'm not picky to spend 5k more shards to get better chances in a limited pool.

    Cavalier crystals could be an option but they are definitely not worth the risk

    Most of those guys will get buffed soon enough.

    Phoenix and Mordo can get into good rotations of spamming specials.

    If you can Parry/Hvy with Phoenix, and fire off an SP1 with 4-5 charges, you can easily get the energy for an SP2, which you fire off for more Phoenix charges. Repeat at your leisure.

    For Mordo, charge heavy attack and cancel with an SP1 for almost endless degeneration damage.

    Yes, Mysterio is the best you've got (and you should definitely rank him up) but Mordo and Phoenix are at least okay.

    I feel your pain for War Machine, though. He was my latest, too!

    Don't. This featured isn't worth the extra 5k. Last one was, but even then I only got **** for my efforts. Was still worth the chances, but it makes pulling **** sting even more.

    Granted, to each their own. I agree that they aren't fun to open, but in my case that's true of every crystal. I just enjoy the fighting; crystals are a dirty necessity.

    If you can’t due to time restraints then you shouldn’t be complaining. It’s not like you are the only one

    I can't get motivated to open a 6* right now. I have 47 I think and so many that I wouldn't rank. A handful have been buffed and I still hate them. T5B and T2A are in my overflow regularly and got a few T5CC collecting dust.

    Opened me 18k units worth of Stryfe crystals and got me a shiny Ultron, Rhino and Jubilee as 6*. Last three crystals were Champion, Mordo dupe and Nebula dupe. Nebs ain't bad but I'm not R3 her. So I'm done opening 6* for a while.

    I do a lot of featured 5* and R5 the ones I like with expiring items and just hoard the rest.

    Hyperion, She Hulk, Warlock and CAIW are all top tier champs and amongst top5 of their class.
    Prioritize them over the rest four, which are very good also, but not as good as the top four, at least in my opinion.

    Sitting at ~54 6*’s and opening a basic is often underwhelming. I don’t expect it to be amazing every time, but there’s a need for the ability to at least target a few classes.
