Are there any Thing players left out there?

I've recently found a liking to Thing when I explored the 3rd chapter of Variant 7. Then I tried him out again in the 3rd chapter of Variant 1.

He. Smashed. Everything.

My 6* Thing has been at rank 2 and sig 100 for a very long time but then I stopped doing AW and he got shelved hard. I was considering sig 20 Rulk and unduped Wasp & Human Torch for my first science r3. After clearing the above content and formed my first science t5cc, I was certain who I should use it on.



My question now is: Where else will he be useful? I have yet to explore 6.2.4-6, 6.3, and 6.4.

    I have a R3 unduped. I don't have a 5* Champion so I mostly use him whenever there's a beefy Man-Thing or I need a shock/nullify immune.

    If you play Thing with the synergy team he is beyond god tier. Was able to clear most of chapter 5 with a 4 star version and most of chapter 6 with a rank 2 6 star. The damage is massive but there is also incredible utility

    Build up 20 stacks and hit a special 2 and it’s both in lockable and will stun the opponent fir such a long time you can finish them off.

    The best part? Because you actually want to start fights with low health (because if the synergy) you never need to use health potions.

    I used him a few times in act 6 and act 7. There is this annoying node in 7.1 where the defenders power gain gets crazy the more bars of power they get. I used his full team synergy for that quest and he breezed through it. Changed in NF for the rhino boss. Great champ for many things!

    This. So much of this. People look at the full synergy team and call it impractical, and I mean, rightfully so. But he's really not a damage based champ, he's got tons of niche utility in shock immunity, armor break immunity, nullify, stagger, fate seal immunity, plus his overpowered sig ability and unstoppable for CSWS. Not at the tippy top of the Science class but comparable to champs like RG and Shulk imo...

    If you've yet to explore act 6 he'll come in handy especially on 6.3 can't stop won't stop.
    He's also got a ton of utility, more so when you factor in protection.
    I don't usually run him with synergies but when I do Champion+Mr fantastic is enough. You don't need to bring an entire team and kill them off which is what people tend to miss. It's even less of a hindrance now that champ swapping at bosses are available.
