  The ads on youtube and other media platforms are based on your online activity.
  
  The apps collect the data of your online activities, and they personalise the ads baed on your preferences. That is why you are seeing those ads, as your online activities must be including MCoC videos and search histories.
  
  You can prevent the apps from collecting your data. You would have to change your ad preferences settings, where you'd have to disable ad customisation based on your activities.
  
  IMO, ideally, to protect your privacy, you should have ad personalization turned off, but that varies from person to person. This prevents the apps from collecting your search history, videos you watch, sites you visit, etc.

  If you have ad tracking on, you'll never see a mcoc ad because they already know you play the game it's a waste of data to target an active user. So for non-active users or non players you can basically say what you like with as many flashy animations and phrases to lure someone in.
  
  And don't think google and apple don't share data. However, it's all algorithms and machine learning, there isn't a person actually spying on you. We aren't important enough for that.
