Gauntlet Progress question.

So.. cleared path one and went to check which portal goes to path 2. I apparently hit the node and took me to the boss portal. If I clear Thanos, do I have to re-fight path 1 defenders or should I just restart now?

    Yes, you will have to re-do all the fights. Before restarting, wait for confirmation from 2-3 other people.

    You have to start from the beginning again, but it might be worth fighting Thanos, I’ve heard he isn’t too bad.

    The only thing missing after you go back in when it's complete are the chests, enemies come back so yeah - I'd restart. Don't need to practice thanos if your taking in aegon because you'll one shot him unless you get a deadpunch backhand dashing in on the last phase like I did.

    Ok thanks. It's what I figured. They shouldn't call it saving your progress. Having to re-fight all the defenders again is not saving progress. I messed up so that's my fault. They need to stick to single portals with multiple options or put the reverse mechanic in quests too.
    I've honestly wanted the mechanic to go back to the last branched path for a long while now. I get it on fixed maps, but it just really screws you over if you happen to tap the wrong one.

    100%. I almost mistaken ported to thanos after the 2nd path. The UI is all wrong.

    Guys.

    There are two teleporters so that they can limit rewards. If you take a portal with a chest, you have to fight another row of defenders. If you take a path without, you go to Thanos (except of course on the final portal node).

    If you complete a path, beat Thanos, and finish, when you hop back in you will have completed a path but you have to refight all defenders and then take the portal with a chest if you wish to get some rewards.

    Another thing to note: If you do 3 paths, do 4. If you do 4 paths that is 2 extra chests. And they are absolute bangers. If you are not great at playing, or don't have proper counters, and/or wanna save for July Fourth maybe go for initial clear. Other than that either do 2 or 4 paths.

    What there really meant with saving progress is you rewards wil be safe so u can’t get them twice ect it was a bit better said safe you’re rewarded you end for next time it show op ect
