Bishop Spotlight and in game ability description discrepancy

As probably many others did I had high hopes for Bishop. Unfortunately I was too hasty since I had some materials expiring and ranked up my duped 6 star to rank 2, before the update went live today.

Now here is the reason I’m particularly disappointed:

His Spotlight says the following: “While Bishop has more than 30 Prowess, or if he’s Bleeding, he Overloads and begins consuming his personal Prowess effects 1 at a time, getting faster the longer he’s been Overloading. If Bishop is suffering from a Bleed, Shock, or Incinerate, Debuff or Passive, each time he consumes a Prowess this way he also deals 476 Energy Damage to his Opponent, scaling with Base Attack.”
One of the first things I did was go into act 7 energy adoption lane, since I though he’d definitely crush that one, as he used to do. Immediately when the fight started I was hugely disappointed. He was getting prowess from the incinerates and shocks, but was consuming them so fast they barely were visible. I then went into his abilities to find out that the description wasn’t the same as in his spotlight. “While Bishop has more than 30 Prowess, or if he’s Bleeding, Shocked or Incinerated he Overloads and begins consuming his personal Prowess effects...”

You shouldn't have ranked him up before the buff was live

Had the update gone live yesterday I wouldn’t have, since my items expired today, about an hour before the buff went live, so I just decided to go for it, since he seemed great. Won’t do something like that again, that’s for sure.

I think OP has a decent point though - it’s not a question of being unsure how well a mechanic that’s only described in a spotlight will translate to game play. The spotlight was flat out incorrect which has caused this issue. One of his best uses is on shock/incinerate paths because of his energy resistance. If these cause him to lose prowess as well, that takes away a big chunk of his utility. And was not accurately described.
