When do I start earning 5* shards in the story?

    Best way to earn gold is arena. It takes considerable grinding and time but you can get a lot from there by reaching the milestones, saving up Battlechips and opening arena crystals afterwards.
    I think you will start earning 5* shards somewhere around act 4.
