I recently pulled a 5* Odin. What do ya'll think about him after his buff? Is he good? Worth ranking up?

    he is not bad on his own, but his main utility is synergies and his pre-fight. i think if you have someone like angela ranked up, why not go for it?

    He himself is a solid damage dealer, and his direct damage on SP2 seems to be useful to get around a lot of the damage reduction nodes/abilities Kabam is throwing around like water now.
    But otherwise his utility is somewhat lacking, so he doesn't really have any matchups where you need to use him.

    Like others have said, his pre-fight and synergies are the best things he brings to the table.

    Seems to work like a weaker cosmic version of Apocalypse. His prefights boost the potency other team members buffs. Worked great for Venom and Angela in the Cav EQ this month.

    Easy access to True Strike, up to +60% increased combat power rate just by doing heavies and heavies have a really good reach, respectable damage from the start that can be greatly boosted by one SP3 (easy to reach thanks to his increased power rate), surprisingly tanky after the SP3, and a niche form of direct damage from his SP2 that works around a lot of damage-limiting nodes.
    He is also really good for two variations of Cav EQ Cosmic nodes, the Aptitude and the Miss one. I have mine at R5 and i love him ^_^

    The only thing I don't really get is his signature ability. I understand the mechanic to copy armor, fury, crit res, physical res, and energy res, but to my knowledge there are no champs in game that have energy and crit resistance buffs in their kit for him to knock down and have a copy of the buff Very few have a physical resistance buff.

    Yes there are certain nodes like resistor and adaptive but seems like a very limited signature ability for him to have in rare occurrences. My guess is that kabam may include more buffs in the future to new champs or include these buffs in new nodes. Still will be very limited.

    It would be nice if kabam swapped out crit resistance with cruelty or precision. Or made a synergy that works with his sig ability.
