Special 3 with 2 bars of power?

Maybe I’m crazy, but I swear that Magik just hit me with a special 3 while only having 2 bars of power! It was War, tile 25 (kinetic transference), I was fighting with Magneto. She had just gotten to 2 bars of power, so I decided to back off and try to bait out a special, then out of nowhere she launches Special 3?!? I was so confused. Maybe I missed something, but I swear that’s what i think happened. She wasn’t attacking at the time, so no power gain from kinetic transference. I don’t know, it sounds crazy but I’m so confused!

    Yeah, I think you’re right. I didn’t realize MD worked on expiring buffs too.
