What does “well-timed block” and “dash back” mean to GM?

Is a parry not a well-timed block?
I’m encountering repeated challenge failures where “Parry” registers multiple times during the “Perform a Well-Times Block” challenge in Phase 3.
Is this intended? It’s been a while since my last GM fight, but this seems like things are not working correctly.
On a side note, neither is dash back. Multiple attempts required before the game registers.
Fine to make fights tough, but not fine to make them tough and buggy.

Edit: Add “Strike My Block” to the list. When GM has his purple prism block up and the player hits that purple prism, is that “striking the block”?

As far as the challenges I notice you must do it several times just too be sure it registers.

At this point it’s just anecdotal, although I have an ally mate who had similar experiences today. Who knows? Maybe I’m just getting some super special pRNG.
