I think its the ROL theme that seems to show up in ever champion showcase. It's cool that mutant batman can do phat damage in rol but what about act 6 and 7 with restrictive nodes? That's what makes a champion.
I had to log in to comment on your post. I LOVE Stryfe. I actually did 2 path of LOLs with him and Apoc synergies. Build up can be more difficult vs Aegono due to having to get charges and SP3 to make them permanent plus Apoc flight too. But once he's up, that dude's unblockable (literally). I took LOL Electro down 1 shot no revive with Stryfe (20 charges with Apoc syn and only med attacks)

The reason people use RoL is it’s for scale. Everyone knows how quickly their favourite champs can do RoL, so it’s a damage test. In your ideal scenario how much damage can this champ do? It’s good for an early scale but I agree, nodes that restrict can better show how useful a champ is.

Yeah for sure. Rol is fun, and you can get some great numbers. I just was touching on the fact that everyone of his showcases are in rol. Which I think you understood but just in case.

- I used Stryfe for Delirium path in 6.3.1 and he wrecked everything. His stun when touching an unstoppable opponent saved me so many times while my lizard kept trying to intercept mighty charge. - I would have used him for the evade path in 6.3.2 but for some reason he was triggering the fatigue even though the opponent didn't evade. - Last night I went against 6.3.3 Havok and he cleared everyone on the unblockable finale path. Put up a concussion, parry before triggering unblockable finale and it won't trigger most of the time. Otherwise, iust maintain concussion and you can completely ignore the node. - His glancing which I hate most of the time saved me from death and stun when I took Kang's sp1 to the face in the above-mentioned quest. - I use him in Map 4 AQ regularly with Hood and Cable so he works for low healthpools. I have gone in with just Cable and some other person and he performed admirably. - He was my MVP for this month's Rogue boss and cleared the mutant path as well. - I'm currently stuck in 6.3 Havok because of the cornered bug so I can't really say about the rest of Act 6 - I used to think Stryfe was impractical and when I read his abilities page, I thought his ramp up would be painful. I ignored him for weeks after I pulled him until I got bored, awakened him, took him to sig 63 which is the optimum sig then I saw the light. He's quite practical, his ramp only needs 2-3 fights and even then he's hitting quite hard after the first one. Small healthpools obviously increase the time but due to his damage, you don't really notice. Even in 6.3, the healthpools are too small. One sp1, one sp2 and almost 300k health is gone. Personally I wouldn't play him unawakened or without Cable. That sig is so helpful because they sometimes die too fast and Cable helps his ramp up a lot. Hood makes it even faster but he's not necessary. I never used the Hood synergy in my Act 6 runs

Thanks for the info. Not tryna hate on stryfe I know he's really amazing. I was more answering Odishikas comment about disagrees and no comments and whatever. Glad to hear the ramp up isn't insane. If I pull him sometime I definetly won't write him off.
Better than a lot of people think, actually. Everyone saw his ramp up when he first came out and said abyss/aegon don’t care.
The wrong idea is that aegon is the best for abyss, but that’s not all he’s good for. He’s amazing with even a moderate combo. Same goes for stryfe. You don’t NEED a huge health pool to use him, and he has cool utility. And the dot is pretty solid
Got him out of the 5* nexus yesterday! Definitely going to rank him up real quick. What does the horseman synergy do though because I have no clue what apoc does. Also I don’t have apoc sadly

At 20 charges he becomes permanently unblockable and the shock on sp2 is paused for 4 seconds

So I know you might have meant lizard brain here, but I have a wonderful image in my mind of you playing MCOC with a pet lizard who swipes your screen to make you dash every so often.

- I'm currently stuck in 6.3 Havok because of the cornered bug so I can't really say about the rest of Act 6
If you do it right, Stryfe's psionic blasts will ignore Havok's plasma detonations damage. I would recommend you to not put the passive shock on Havok as that will make handling his plasmas much harder. To ramp up, throw your sp1 into Havok's block instead.

I actually used him against Havok and noticed that. I didn't pay attention to it because I noticed the cornered bug and decided to do as much damage as I could before I died. Gotta test it some more. Mine is already fully ramped up when I got to Havok so I can simply put on some mutant power boosts and spam sp2. Hitting the opponent's block with sp makes them play passively atimes which is dangerous with this Havok

People who disagree with game information being posted on a forum about said game kinda is missing the point.

I'll try act 6 and 7 content if ROL seems too basic
