Updating MCOC: Space Error

I have 1GB of free space on my phone...the update says it's 68 MB. When I try to update, it says I don't have enough space...I get errors like this almost every month and it usually takes me a couple days to figure things out. Sometimes clearing the cache helps...sometimes it doesn't.

Your app is already taking up 2.75 GB of space of my 16 GB memory, most of which is the OS. I have a memory card, but I can't put the game on there.

So I eventually took the step of uninstalling and reinstalling the app...which sucks and involves the stressful moment of "this is the right password, right?"

All's well that ends well, but these update glitches are really annoying...

    Had the same problem this month...but turned off my always-on VPN in order to update and apparently that is the problem.

    Although, that's kinda a worse problem...because it means your app is the only one on my phone I'm having to compromise my internet security for. My account is linked to a card in a certain country and the prices on my game no longer shift depending on which VPN I use, so...what's the point in having this failsafe?

    I know that my phone is a little old (16gb and 2gb of ram) and since the apps now can't be downloaded anymore on sdd the space requirements are high, but i hate that for an update like the one of today that is 10mb i have to free 3,50gb of space (1,47 for the game +1,47 for the copying + 100mb more or less for data). Really we can't move some minor data to ssd? Well, the solution of the remove and reinstalling works, but one dayi have to drop it, because they're doing the same thing of the warzone updating, piling the data and not removing things unnecessary for the game
