    Ibom doesn't need it.

CAIW benefits so much from sig 200

I like iBom's awakened ability and I use him a lot more in content than I do Beardo nowadays, but there's no question that Beardo needs those sig stones more than iBom does. If you like Beardo and you use him a lot in the content you're playing, I would absolutely go with him. His sig at 200 makes him into one of the most versatile champions in the game. He basically gets a bunch of abilities from the other classes, assuming he has a teammate of that class alongside him. It can be really, really useful in a lot of situations. He basically becomes debuff immune as long as he has kinetic charges and he has a skill teammate; he can break armor if he has a cosmic teammate; he can mitigate or outright reverse healing and power gain with a tech teammate and a few points in the despair mastery.

I'm about to R4 Ibom and already have a max sig Beardo. Would u recommend using a science AG on him or hold off for Void or Torch? Those are the only 5* science champs i use right now

IIRC Void needs very high to max Sig and Torch does not need his awakened ability whatsoever. It only gives you a chance to regain your persistent charge after it has been spent.

    I reckon awaken Ibom.

@mattress iBom doesn't really need it in the same way Beardo or Void do, but it's nice. It allows him to start with 3 poisons on himself, which grants him extra physical resistance and the ability to place weakness debuffs on the opponent by blocking their attack (which can be really useful at times). With Willpower, those poisons also allow him to heal right off the bat.

In addition, it enhances the duration of his poison, petrify and acid burn effects by between 6 and 30% depending on sig level.

I would probably advise you to hold off for a bit, rank him up and see if you like him and want a better version of him, which he becomes with his sig ability. But it's unnecessary to waste a gem on him if you don't gel with him.

As for Torch, I wouldn't waste an awakening gem on him. His sig ability only gives him a chance to use his Nova flames more than one time per quest, but unless you're running a gauntlet of really tricky mystic fights it doesn't strike me as that necessary. Granted, I don't have a 5* Torch so I can't really speak from experience, but it seems like the kind of ability you activate for a single tricky boss fight or some other really difficult fight on the path. Just reading the ability description, it seems too unreliable to be really worth it.

But if you pull Void, man, he's such a great champ and his sig is absolutely needed. It transforms him from a fairly average champion into a beast.
