Is Asgardian armour, the golden, shiney godly looking armour made out of paper or aluminum foil?

Why is Odin's and Hemidal's armours and heimdal block proficiency so low?

    The same reason why you can go kill knull with rocket racoon. Everything cannot be so realistic or the game is unplayable
