Does Kabam purposely give you the same Champion twice?

I have been saving up my crystals to get a 4/5 Star champion and low and behold after all that saving they give me the same champion twice? Is this on purpose so you can spend money? Right after I got the same champion offer for credits popped up!

    To answer your question, no they dont rig your crystals.

    "No one comes here to show they got 2 Shang Chi's in a row". This is your confirmation bias. You just forget those posts showing consecutive pulls of Aegon/CGR.

    Again. When you defend something scientifically, you should understand what you're defending for. If you didn't see the RNG formula nor any deduction, you're just showing another side of belief. Just like religion.

    You can stand in front of the lake and say there is monster under the lake, but other people can challenge it based on their experience as well. Yes you can ask state police to shoot anyone challenging you and let them disappear because this is your place and you set the rules, but it won't change the fact that your null hypothesis can't be proven or not, in a scientific way.

    It is completely random, but the odds of getting the same champ are there. Slim but they are. Kabam has developed a fair system of randomly distributing pulls, noone rigs anything.

    Also a small advice for you op, don't base your RNG expectations on posts on this forum. Here you can mostly see the extremes - unreal luck or abysmally bad luck. But the majority who have just "average" or okay luck are usually silent because there is no reason for them to post about being average

    Hey there, what Champs are received from any given Crystal is random and based on the Champions available from the Crystal itself (you couldn't pull a 2-Star Green Goblin from a 6-Star Mystic Crystal). Since it is random, it can lead to some scenarios that are eye-catching, like getting the same Champion multiple times in a day, but still within the realms of normal randomness.
