During the last phase of kang, when you are racing him to get the sp3. I thought it was a guaranteed knock out when you use your Sp3 before he does. He has survived 2 of the 5 times I ran the boss. The nodes that were up were "charged up" and "Power looper". The champs he survived against were a 5* 5/65 hyperoin and a 6* r2 spider-man 2099. Do I just have bad luck?

Spidey 2099 and Hyperion don't have strong enough specials to KO Kang first time, so you'll just have to run it again. However, Spidey's wither and exhaustion can reduce and even reverse Kang's power and allow you to get more than 1 special attack off. If you got to 3:54 here you'll see what I mean
I used a 5/65 aegon and had no issue
