Can I play MCOC on a chromebook?

I did some research and it looks like I can, just want to double check. If a mod can chime in that would be great!

I bought an ASUS CM5, which can flip into a tablet mode. It comes installed with google play, so I can play mcoc on it like an Ipad. Will I get banned for playing on a non mobile device? Im thinking no, but wanted to be sure.

    Yes you can. You just need to make sure you have the google play store downloaded and it's downloaded from the play store.

    Ok, I checked and it says my chromebook is not compatible with the game :(
