Basic Arena and Family Weekends

I have a young family, a wife and a child under 2 years old. Anyone who has a child at that age will know how much time they have at the weekend (zero, a few minutes here and there if you're lucky).

The only time I have to myself is mid-week, and they game is purely geared towards people who have all weekend to do nothing but play the game. Why not occasionally run an arena event that doesn't include the weekend?

Thats why they run two arena event for the same character and catalyst evemts keep rotating. Seems pretty fair to me

Games like this don't really cater for people with busy lives unfortunately. Despite that, the two runs as stated by Browny86 does try to provide more chance to score a champ. Unfortunately I assume you are a working man thus that too will be challenging.

If you are unable to challenge for a featured/basic champ with the roster, I'm sorry to say that you may be out of the minimal requirement to challenge for a featured/basic champ. However, this is only for the time being.

Focus on building your roster through other means (AW, story quest...) and when you have a solid team the time you need to be competitive in the arenas will be significantly lower. I'm sure you will get there at some point and I hope you wont stop trying.

I applaud you for valuing your time with your family as they are indeed the best thing in a man's life. I hope you can find a balance between playing this great game and spending time with your kids.

    Best wishes.

Like from, say, Monday to Thursday? Something like that? :|

Yeah it's tough to keep up with the big boys and maintain balance. I suggest you just relax, play as you can and just make sure you get a few 4 star shards from every arena.

I've got a ten month old daughter at home and for a variety of reasons, but that being one of the main ones, my gameplay has curtailed into a much more casual style over the last year. Honestly, I've found the game to be much more enjoying and I've found things like the 12.0 debacle and other bugs to be far less infuriating to me than others lately as well.

Just play when you can and try not to let it get to you too much. Family and real life should take priority every single time.
