Autoplay Intelligence

What are the chances of us ever getting an autoplay intelligent enough to recognize, and move, when you have energy?

If the question doesn't make sense, let's say I'm working on master EQ 1.1, that cost one energy per step. If autoplay is on, once I run out of energy, autoplay never moves again. I'm curious if we might ever see a feature that recognizes I just gained one energy, so with autoplay already running, it continues to move each time I gain enough energy to take another step.

Basically, I'm curious about a way to use energy while I'm sleeping. I subscribe to the Sigil, so I gain 1 energy every 5 minutes, which means I'm maxed out after 5 hours and 50 minutes. Because I'm a professional sleeper (I should see if I can get paid for that...), and try to get about 8 hours a night, about 26 energy is effectively wasted.

I have no idea what scope of development would be required for that, but I'm fairly certain it'd be a great QoL improvement everyone could get behind.

I get what you’re saying, but the point of energy is that it limits how much we can do and when we can do it. Not allowing an account to play for you while you are logged out is a way to make sure someone’s account can’t limitlessly explore low level quests, etc. Would it be better for our accounts if we could do it? Of course. Does it mean that we should be allowed to? Not necessarily.

It is similar to having a login calendar and login crystals. To maximize your rewards, you would have to log in at some point while you are asleep to claim them, unless you sleep less than 4 hours a night. Would it be be better for our account if we could just stash the crystals every 4 hours? Of course. Is that how it works? Nope. This way, you are incentivized to log back in every few hours to make the most of your energy. At some point, everyone has to sleep and miss out on some amount of energy. I don’t think it needs to change, personally.

Another similar argument (though functionally different) is allowing champions to be in multiple quests at the same time. It might make things easier/better for your account, but the point is that it challenges you in certain ways and limits you to the specific uses that the game allows.

You framed your point very clearly and I’m sure some people would be behind you, I just really doubt Kabam will go there. I don’t think it would be too difficult on the servers or anything, but it just breaks that facet of game design and the incentive for players to log in and use energy.

Well said. 100% agree with you.

    Hello
In my opinion, the priority would be to have a REAL autoplay system... At the moment the system can not decide to skip the discussions (honestly I don’t care about the story in the monthly quests), and worse can not choose the unexplored paths!
In fact the player don’t fight but is really constrained to frequently tap on the phone: to skip the discussions, to choose the first way, to choose at each crossroads...
It is very often even quicker to play rather than to let the player’s AI stroked.

Positive point : the autoplay exists.
Negative point : its intelligence is not implemented.

QOL is that you forget about the game at least when you sleep. Using 26 energy is not QOL. There is a life outside the game you know.

Apparently you need more human intelligence then auto intelligence to enjoy your life.
So do you bruh. This was unnecessary 💁🏾‍♂️
