Number of paths in monthly EQ

Monthly bores basically everyone but I understand it’s purpose. Cutting the number of paths down to something like this seems like a good compromise:

2 paths each for chapter 1.
3 paths each for chapter 2.
4 paths each for chapter 3.

Seems fair right?

Better option would be to have portals at end of the path so that people who want to do it can do multiple paths at once, & if not they can take the boss
