Battlegrounds beta questions

Hi everyone. Battlegrounds beta starts tmr for UC and up. In the 7.4 beta you could do any part of story content too and I did an abyss run to see how many revives and how it would go. For the battlegrounds beta tomorrow will I be able to do abyss or only Battlegrounds?

    Yeah the way I understood it there isn’t going to be a separate beta server like you said. Sounds like they are just going to “release” battlegrounds on the live server for a week, then pull it off.

    saying again what everyone else did, i think that we'll just see a battlegrounds mode on the right side of the fight tab, nothing will change about the server or anything

    It’s a beta test, not on beta servers. It’ll release to everyone on their normal account.

    Let's break that down:

    The disagreers: no, we disagree--you are lying about your hopes!

    Or, funnily enough, your two options could possibly be missing one of the many applications of the reaction. To disagree does not mean that we think that the OP is lying. To disagree means to have or express a different opinion. The OP hopes that we are wrong, and we do not hope that we are wrong. Two different opinions.

    Do you want me to break down why I disagree with your post?

    S/he literally said "hope," which is to have a desire or an internal state or feeling; hoping does not mean that you have an opinion (e.g., "I hope to be famous" [i.e., a desire] does not mean that "I think I will be famous" [i.e., an opinion]). Accordingly, it's strange (i.e., not within the rules of syllogism) to disagree with someone's internal state or feeling, esp. if said person is someone whom one does not know personally (even then, it's dangerously presumptuous).

    If the proposition was an assertion of an opinion (e.g., "you guys are all wrong," "I think you guys are all wrong," etc.), then of course one can disagree. Opinions are disagreeable; hopes are not disagreeable because hopes are generally not opinions (there might be some exceptions that prove the rule, but I think we can all agree that the instance above is not exceptional). So even in your example of "we do not hope that we are wrong," a "disagree" would not be accurate if we understand the meanings of "disagree," "hope," and opinion." Based on the meanings of these words, the only way you can disagree with someone hoping in something is to opine that said person is not truly hoping in said thing.

    The 2nd clause of the comment acknowledges that people's responses do make sense. Supposing that something makes sense is an opinion, so it is disagreeable. But it'd be illogical to disagree with someone who is agreeing with you.

    I mean, I understand that the available reaction types are limited in this forum. Maybe a dislike would be more appropriate. But my comment wasn't intended to be taken this seriously.
