Tigra OG BP synergy not working?

Took tigra and OG BP into AW against a thing boss, thinking that tigra would nullify his unstoppable when he's ruptured which he was, and it didn't work? Is this a bug or am I missing something?

    Thing is immune to nullify, although Tigra can prevent things unstoppable if he has a neutralize on him when he hits 16

    Just to add that if Thing is on 15 or above and you hit him without a neutralise on him it won’t work. The unstoppable will trigger first.

    You need the neutralise on at 14, then you can hit him to take him to 15 and with the neutralise on, it’ll stop the unstoppable from triggering.
