I have defeated the Hydra adaptoid and I have a stash of potions and revives left. What would be the best options for the Grandmaster? I know he can be fought with any champion but which are the best options to go with? Feel free to share your advices and experiences. This is the same Grandmaster all of you who are thronebreakers and above have fought he has not been changed so I will be facing him at his full strength.

Bring a Champ with DoT. Other than that, it's really a matter of paying attention to the Missions and Phases.

Since you have ProfX and Doom, it should be pretty easy. Just use Doom for the first 2 phases and use ProfX for the last one to deal with reversed controls. For the final phase, you can use NF's second life and basically guarantee SP3 even if you get hit a bunch

For ur first attempt I'd say don't attempt it unless u have a good stash of units
Or u can do the path itemless & try to practice against him
Don't start using ur stash before u get an experience of that fight
It troubles the most during completion run
Watching YouTube guides extensively & getting 1 or 2 itemless practice runs should be good enough to go fr a serious attempt
Getting a higher unit count is also advisable just for safety bcoz how that fight will go also varies a lot from device to device
If u have an older device then that fight will be much more troublesome compared to those who have newer generation devices
Doom is good for phases 1 & 2
Prof X is probably the best option for phase 3
Don't go for the Sunspot path as ur first run
That path needs to be left for when u've done the fight 3-4 times

When I first fought him, I really struggled with the sp1 fex timing. All said above pretty much sums up the fight. My piece of advice is, if you get frustrated (like I did), just put down ur device & indulge yourself in something that will calm u down. I got him to a little under 30% then finished it the morning, dying only 1 after many, many earlier deaths the day before Good luck

Watch MCOCnoob for the guide, and watch MSD who practice GM fights with various champs in one shot.

The node you will be dealing with is opportunistic if you take Phoenix path as for Grandmasters abilities here's a video regarding it @winterthur
