Is it possible to beat the Grandmaster itemless?

I have made 2 attempts on the Grandmaster and wish to try to take him down without items if possible.. in the first attempt I died at 99% lmao and I did better in the second attempt brought him down till the second phase but got knocked out due to tokens of blunder. I am going for completion but also wish to improve my skill and try to minimise my item use for this fight. Should I go for itemless takedown or do it while exploring? This fight really is based on skill that's my favorite fight in Act 6.

    Yeah i wouldn't necessarily worry about it as far as completion goes. Just get it done and get your act 6 rewards. Then when you go to explore that quest and want to push yourself to get that one shot, go for it.

    I would suggest doing runs and practicing. For the cost of Energy, you can only get better. Once you can get him down to Phase 3, push through if you need to. Just my opinion
