Can't access menu buttons since update

Every time I try to switch modes the menu does this and I have to reset the game since the latest update. Anyone else experiencing this? Is it only Android or does iOS have this problem as well?

    The work around method I used: click “Alliance” and then call up this menu again, full menu will return.

    This happens occasionally to me the past 2 weeks - in my case only the Alliance button is available - try and press Alliance button then go to other menus from there.
