Heimdall Tune Up/ Buff

Fury - Buff
• When Striking or being Blocked by an Opponent, Heimdall gains Passive Fury charges
• On reaching 100 charges they convert into a Fury Buff increasing Attack by

lasting 10 seconds.

*** Developer Note: Both Heimdall’s Fury and Armor Ups build at the same rate, gaining 16 charges when striking the Opponent (or being Struck for Armor Ups), and 8 charges when striking a block (or blocking for Armor Ups).

Intercepting the Opponent grants 32 charges and Well-timed blocks grant 32 charges as well.

Armor Up - Buff
• When Struck by or Blocking an Opponent’s attack, Heimdall gains Passive Armor Charges.
• On reaching 100 charges they convert into an Armor Up Buff increasing Armor by 900 lasting 10 seconds.

*** Developer Note: Heimdall will only trigger Armor Ups in response to you striking either him or his block.

While Charging Heavy Attack
• Remove 1 active Fury, Armor Up, Precision, or Aptitude Buff, triggered by Heimdall’s abilities, and replace it with one with an infinite Duration.
• Heimdall can have a maximum of 5 of these Buffs at a time.

*** Developer Note: You can only convert 1 Buff per Heavy Attack, but it converts as soon as your Heavy starts, whether you hit or not. Heimdall tries to convert Buffs in a specific order: Aptitude -> Precision -> Fury -> Armor Up

True Sight - Passive
• Every time he activates a Special Attack, Heimdall gains a permanent

passive

True Strike Buff as long as he doesn’t already have one active. This Buff is lost if Heimdall is Struck.
• While True Strike is active Heimdall’s Attacks cannot be avoided with Dexterity, he can trigger the Parry Mastery against projectiles, and has a

50%

chance to Auto-Block Basic Attacks, this will trigger Parry.

Critical Hits;
• Deal 419,6 physical damage per buff active on Heimdall while his true strike passive is active and the opponent has an armor break debuff.
• Refresh armor break debuffs if heimdall has 3+ buffs.

Special 1: Hofund - Heimdall wields his uru sword Hofund with powerful sweeping blows, combining his natural strength with enchantments woven into the blade by Odin himself.
• 100% chance to Armor Break the Opponent once for each Fury Buff currently active on Heimdall. These Armor Breaks reduce Armor by 105 and last for 10 seconds.

Max. 10

• 100% chance to gain a Power Gain Buff for each Armor Up Buff currently active on Heimdall. These Power Gains grant 12.5% of his Max Power, over 10 seconds.

Special 2: Blue Flame of the Stars - Channeling the cosmic power of the stars themselves, Heimdall unleashes a blast of blue flame of terrifying power.
• 100% Chance to be Unblockable if you have least 1 Armor Up Buff.
• 100% Chance to Stun for 2.5 seconds if you have at least 1 Fury Buff.

• Gain 839,2 Attackrating per Armorbreak Debuff on the Opponent for the duration of the attack

*** Developer Note: Remember that note about how Heimdall only triggers Armor Ups in reaction to you striking him or his block? Don’t let him throw a Special 2 at you while he’s got an Armor Up!

Special 3: Master of the Bifrost - Heimdall unlocks the Bifrost, unleashing the power of the rainbow bridge itself upon his opponent.
• 100% Chance to grant an Aptitude Buff, increasing the potency of Armor, Fury, and Precision Buffs by 50% lasting for 15 seconds.

*** Developer Note: Aptitude doesn’t improve Buffs that were already active when it triggers, however it will improve them if active when Heimdall converts one into an infinite Duration Buff.

Signature Ability: All Seeing
• Heimdall gains a 100% chance to trigger a Precision Buff increasing Critical Rating by

2099,94

and lasting for 10 seconds, each time

Heimdall activates a Special Attack.

• Heimdall converts all of the Buffs active on him at the end of the previous fight into Power. Start the fight with a Power Gain Buff granting 7.47% of his Max Power per Buff converted at the beginning of the fight, over 5 seconds.

    Tbh he just needs his max number of permanent Buffs increased to 10 along with the Aptitude increasing Fury/Armor/Precision potency by 120% and maybe longer Armor Break. Your idea is nice and much simpler though.

    Apologise, I posted to soon. Dont often post and dont know how to edit my original post.
    Its a copy-paste from the spotlight of a 4* and I forgot to change the value of the second part of the signature ability; for a 5* lvl65 it should be (stay) 9%.

    I guess there is already a "buff", tune-up in the works but still have to get this out since I love Heimdall.

    So, keeping with the Cosmic-Theme the Buff-heavy part and Armor Break Debuffs should of course stay as part of his main Kit. But since he is lacking damage, he needs/should get the following changes;

    - The Fury Buff should be double the value it is now
    - The Precision buff from his signature should be triple the value, at max sig and activate on every Special Attack
    ***Amateur notes: With his Basic Stats being as low as they are this just needs to happen.

    ***Amateur notes: Raising the limit of Indefinite Buffs would make Heimdall slower, keeping it 5 and increasing the value of the Buffs would be the better way to go. He already feels slow and heavy with the limit of 5 Indefintite Buffs, especially if you want to take advantage of the Apptitude Buffs. The necessity of having to use 10 Heavy Attacks in high end content to just get up to where other Champions are from the get go also isnt appealing.

    ***Amateur notes: He also needs a little extra boost in speed while gaining his Fury and Armor Buffs. Hopefully gaining extra charges from well-timed blocks and intercepting is enough. Right now you can have 1 definite Fury Buff, 2-3 against Winter Soldier but in Act7 and against EOP-Overseer not so much. Maybe there is the possibility of 2 definite Fury Buffs with the extra charges from intercepting.

    - Extra Damage (per Buff, can be of the same kind) and ability to refresh Armor Break Debuffs on critical hits
    ***Amateur notes: The extra Damage is Buff and Debuff dependant and in line with the Cosmic Class. It would give Heimdall the opportunity to dish out extra Damage in advantageous Match-Ups.
    Debuff Immunity, Armor Break Immunity and simply taking away his Buffs could all counter Heimdall.

    Heimdall, needs to be Heimdall. The All seeing Guardian of the Bifrost.

    - True Strike Buff should become "True Sight", its own passive Buff once awakened and additionaly ignore Miss.
    ***Amateur notes: Nothing is out of Heimdalls sight.

    ***Amateur notes: These changes would not increase the difficulty of Heimdall as a Defender by much.
    - Double the chance to Autoblock
    - Special1 Powergain guaranteed (per armor up) and not dependant on Fury-Armor ratio
