Breaking Ground rewards

in Bugs and Known Issues
In the Special Breaking Ground reward it states win FIGHTS in Battleground to get points, it appears to only be applying when winning MATCHES
Is this a typo or is this a bug?

    I won a lot of matches fair and square but they didnt count toward my objectives
