Will there ever be another rebalance to champion prestige?

I imagine not, but I just wonder if there will ever be another rebalance when it comes to champion prestige. When you compare a number of champions the gaps can be crazy still.

Infamous Iron Man 8124 at sig 0 5/65 5*
Iron Man 8091 at sig 200 5/65 5*

Of course that may be an extreme comparison as Infamous is the highest prestige, and Iron Man isn’t exactly considered worth ranking up anyway. However, if we look at She-Hulk a champion who is considered worth ranking up, her prestige is 8684 sig 200 5*, and 163 champions out of the 236 available as a 5* are higher than that at sig 40.

I’m sure I remember a rebalance some years back, and just feel another is in order.

She-Hulk can lead a cast in her own tv series but in MCoC she can’t realistically be your top champ unless you have no other champs at that rank.

Just a thought.

*I chose 5* prestige over 6* as we can see their prestige fully maxed.

What does starring in a movie or show have to do with prestige ratings?

Nothing, you’re right. Just using her as an example as a low prestige champion, who also happens to have a tv series.

Your Prestige is an average of your Top Champs' PI, without Masteries.

    When was prestige "rebalanced"?

Again, you are right. However, what about Thor (Ragnarok) and Spider-Man (Stealth Suit)? And I know they come out after the movie releases, but still high prestige and stars of movies.

In any event, she was just a low prestige champ I used as an example.

No. 12.0 changed how stats work. Had nothing to do with prestige.

She-Hulk has existed in the game since the near beginning. She was released before either of those champs and her Disney+ series happened years after their movies. Your "movie star" theory holds no water.

I apologise I’m obviously remembering it incorrectly, I just remember there was a chart with all champs prestige changes on it- clearly from the stat changes you pointed out. Thank you for correcting me.

There is no “movie star” theory though, I’m well aware she was in game for years before the series and there is no link between the two. She was just an example, that’s it.

The only reason I mentioned Thor and Spider-Man was because in those isolated cases there does seem to be a link between the character release, film release and high prestige.

No theory, honest. Just an example. I’m sorry if I haven’t explained myself clearly.

Stealth Suit Spidey is 27th on the prestige list and Thor Rags is now 10th. There is no connection. There's never been any real reason as to why Kabam gives champs better prestige over another.
