Can you confirm that a player will receive their alliance team Battlegrounds rewards if they are on the team when the event ends and then they change teams? I'm sure you're aware that players have to be on NEW teams by tomorrow December 20 for the Banquet Event.
I'm aware that some years ago, you all installed some measures to reduce "alliance jumping" behaviors and it's been mostly positive. However, there are some ideal times in the modern game that players wish to move in free agency and it's a huge challenge for Leaders and Officers (who don't get paid or get any extra rewards for their volunteered extra time coordinating team events). So, It's the war offseason, which is usually the best time for players to move from one team to another.
War Season is basically The Free Agency Period, historically; pre-BGs. However, this moment here, players are potentially stuck with a conundrum. Alliance Quest is underway, which in high level player social circles, it's generally considered bad karma to exit a team mid AQ cycle, but pretty much everyone is attempting to make their moves with Banquet event as the priority and i believe willing to mess up their AQ cycle a bit, except maybe our top100 teams (we have 3 teams in the top 12 AQ in our family), so even though less than ideal, players and teams below the highest ranking are reluctantly compromising to make player moves mid AQ, but, the Banquet cutoff is tomorrow, and free agents are very nervous about this since Battlegrounds rewards may not be out today.
It would be much better in the future to coordinate a window where not just individual players, but whole teams aren't forced to sacrifice some rewards, but specifically time the awards release with at least a 24-48 hour period before the Banquet cutoff.
You're basically forcing players to potentially not receive 30 days worth of hard work from their Battlegrounds season.
And from the individual players' perspectives, you could say "just stay on your team and be loyal" but that doesn't cover the Leader and Officer perspective. We have players who we need to replace due to possibly a performance or participation issue. In some cases, we have allowed those players to stay on the team to receive rewards for their Battlegrounds contributions, but then they now might have to be removed in order to allow free agents to join before the Banquet cutoff. Similarly, players seeking to leave their existing team in free agency but are waiting for Battlegrounds rewards are stuck between potentially having to forfeit their BG rewards to be on their new team before the Banquet event starts.
So, what the ask here is, since you can't really go back in time and adjust any of the previously mentioned elements, is for Kabam to confirm that, if a player was on the team when the event expires, then they will receive the team rank rewards.
That would allow players to leave today after the Battlegrounds event expires and join their new team before the Banquet event begins tomorrow.
I also think this will affect peoples' spending habits also in this Banquet Event positively by confirming this. We have hundreds of players, many in the top ranks of this game, and many who spend a lot on this game who are potentially affected by this dilemma.
Please clearly confirm if players will still receive their Battlegrounds Rank rewards if they exit to a new team post expiry or if they will forfeit their BG rank rewards if they leave before you guys distribute the rewards.
The only other thing you could consider is to postpone the start Banquet event until 24 hours after you distribute Battlegrounds rewards, and therefore postponing the cutoff to allow players to exit and move to their new teams, which they would then be likely locked into until the end of war season.
