They made everything harder for casual players, without increasing rewards. However, they added a more difficult level for the veteran players to gain more rewards. The only people that should be happy with this are those with a robust R4 6* roster.

The thing is, it's not even significantly more rewards. Just extra 30 paths.

The new difficulty level is meant to be more difficult. Consider it a challenge and something you will grow into. The same was true when they added Cav Difficulty. At first I would only do a completion run, with some revives and potions, but eventually I was cruising through, rarely using any potions. I am glad they added a new difficulty level.
I'm a little annoyed as I would autofight master during champ solo events. Now that equates to Proven which is fine. But I remember getting 10 units to complete quests. Just did one and now it's 5 units. A bit annoyed at that. That's like the old normal unit rewards.
Haven't really looked at the other rewards, but I don't see how they can keep the effort the same but de-tune rewards. Especially with units.

This sounds like Kabam is only hearing/listening to the top tier players and not the majority of their playerbase, which I assume is new and casual players. Then they change it catering to the top tier players and are shocked that the new/casual players are frustrated that the game is worse for them?
