No option to buy more gifts in the item store?

Trying to send more gifts and i get a popup that prompts me to go to the item store and buy some more, but they're nowhere to be found in the store. What's up with this?

    That’s the default text for gifting. In this case you can only gift what you earn and cannot buy more items to gift. There is a special quest for the Lunar New Year event located in the side quest tab. If you want to be able to send more envelops, run and clear that quest.

    So you can only send the initial gifts (was it 10?) + 10 more for finishing the special quest and that's it? No way to buy more gifts with credits?

    8 from the initial message, 10 from 100% of the quest and 24 over the course of the calendar. 42 gifts to send in total. No way to purchase additional ones (and if there was a way I would very much not recommend doing so).
