Can you go down in ranks in BG if you lose? (Gladiators circuit)

Quick question:
Just made it to Vibranium and then Gamma 3. I lost 2 duels (got too used to the old nodes) and I am worried to keep losing and, thus, going down from Gamma 3 to Uru 1. Is it possible? Or is it the same system as with lower ranks? I.e., if I reach Diamond 1 and lose over 10 fights. i will still be Diamond 1 even though I lost.
