Why does the other team get a defender kill when I timed out in war? I didn't die, I just timed out. I don't think it's fair! :/

    You lose an attack bonus. Did you attack and win within the time? No. Therefore you lose a bonus. Defender kills don’t matter in any metric.

    But it's still not fair.. like maybe the game needs to give more time.. this isn't the only time this has happened.. playing carefully so I didn't die... still was for nothing

    The time limit is not a surprise, it’s on every fight, so it’s fairly displayed. Your opponents have a timer for all of their fights too, so it’s fair. If you fail to beat the opponent in the allotted time then the defender won by holding you off long enough. It’s also in place so that people can’t abuse the system and purposely timeout to save a death, which would actually be unfair. The time given for a fight is adequate to take that fight according to your tier without having to worry about the timer in the overwhelming majority of cases. If you’re timing out you need either bring better counters or let others with better counters take those fights.

    Your opponent didn’t died either.
    Why then to take all attack bonus from the fight?
    I think it’s pretty fair to get points deducted for timing out.

    Probably lower tier, as higher tier player won't ask this... 3 min is op dealing with.
