So I've seen in the thread about revives Kabam did that they mentioned that if the state of the game will remain the same (I think regarding revives) then act 8 might be the last act. Or they were referring to 8.2
Anyway, you absolutely can't do that! This is like the best game mode!!! Personally I REALLY like the plot and always wait for new chapters just for that! The story of the contest has always been interesting to me. Secondly rewards from it are amazing, and with all the various nodes and defenders it's a place to try champions. Not to mention progression titles and stuff... I think a big part of what the game is, and a big reason for what it is, is the story. You can't take this away from us!

    I would assume that it means that the nerf was necessary so that it was worth it to them to keep creating content past chapter 8. Now that they did the revive nerf they think it will be better and that they can keep making content

    No, they are announcing a change. There is no say we have in it. It's only their grace that they listened to us players. Ik it sounds horrible, but I needed to express as clearly as possible, that they don't threaten, because players have no power. It's like if you told your pet dog "well, if I don't go to my job, I will get fired and you will end up a stray". Yea, like it could stop me from leaving

    I didn't like 8.1 story wise that much... but 8.2 should be better, and now Carina will try to make Scytalis give information about The chronoserpant's organization so that's pretty cool
