AW defender info prior to joining war

I’ve updated my app to the latest version that was recently released. I am spectating the BGs in the alliance prior to joining. I currently cannot tap on the defender information to view the information of the defenders. Prior to the latest app update, I have been able to view the defender information when spectating. Was this a change intentionally made to AW or is this a bug with the update? I can’t find anything previously stated regarding this in the forums. Please let me know if anyone is experiencing the same thing.

    I’ve joined war and now have the ability to see the defender information. Can someone from Kabam please offer some information stating the ability to view defender information prior to joining war was going to be stopped? Again, I looked over other posts and cannot find that this change was coming.

    Able to tab the defender information after joining war.

    I just would like to know if this was an intended change and when was it stated it to be a change by Kabam
