Apothecary Easy Quest - Why?

I don’t understand the point in this quest in anyway?

I’ve ran it and everytime I haven’t even had a revive.

Surely this can’t be right? You’ve took away a part of the game that’s been there for ages, and replaced it with a quest, which just burns some energy for like a 325 health potion, for a champ who needs thousands.

This quest is pretty much irrelevant as early as a week into the game, for any player.

I don’t mean to moan, but we can surely all agree this isn’t acceptable?

Let’s keep it on track, voice your opinion reasonably, I’ve not broken any rules with the post either, so I can’t see it being removed.

It’s a valid point, would also like to know if anyone at all has gained a revive doing the quest?

(Also hard mode should at least be a level 2 revive)

As well as a follow-up, saying in May update it will be available all 7 days instead of just 5 days currently, amongst other tweaks mentioned in follow-up.

The Easy Quest is for Players who need it, clearly. The game isn't solely comprised of Players looking to stock up for 8.2.

If you have the sigil isn’t there a trade in for health pots at each level for a 25k health pot? easy apothecary is a fairly stable way to be able to get the L1 and L2 health pots to trade in for a 25k health pot. If you don’t have the sigil or have no other need for the low level health pots it’s probably best to just skip it.

Easy is a total waste of energy. They really shouldn’t have a picture of a revive on the easy quest since there’s no revive rewarded. They really need to remove that image of a revive

Easy has 1% chance of that L1 Revive.
Just like Hard quest pic shows an L2 Revive, 5% chance for that one.

Sure it is the same way they advertise Cavalier Crystals and things with RNG. But it hasn't really but done that way in Quests and static content. The other Daily quests on those screen show what one can reasonably expect. But everything about the Apothecary implies abundant revives and health potions when that is simply not the case.

Just as it is perfectly fine for Kabam to advertise the Apothecary this way, it is also perfectly fine to call them out on advertising this way.

Who needs a 325 health potion if you’ve played the game for a few days. Literally nobody.

That’s the point, the quest is irrelevant to 99% of the players a few days into the game, nevermind players of 5+ years.

Potions, like revives, should be percentage based and not a set number. A level 1 health potion is barely useful for a 4*, and with 7* coming soon, that feels very outdated.
I know not everyone is preparing for 8.2 but comparing to EQ paths, it just looks very sad (and please don’t go nerfing EQ health potions to make apothecary look better!).

Im not, I’m saying after a week of playing, that level of potion is irrelevant wether you want to believe it or not, my son plays, in a week he had 4* and a 5* which 325 health potion wouldn’t help at all.

I’m saying the quest is irrelevant, not the players.

Come on man. I've been a new player and I've started mini accounts. Literally no one needs to run a quest to get these potions. The best argument for it was the Sigil trade in.

We've all been new Players. That's not the same as starting an Alt with all the knowledge we have now. It wasn't just thrown in there arbitrarily. There are Players who will make use of it.

Level 1 health potion will barely even do 20% on my rank 1 3-star – which they practically give away, and you will have them by the time you complete act 1.

Useless. Anyone who thinks the energy cost even at that level is worth it is just wrong.

That's a bit of a jump from what I said, but I'll break it down.
Do I think it's a positive change that they removed the farm? Yes. It was a broken number of Revs.
Do I think it's a positive thing that there's a lower level of it for lower Players? Yes. They need Pots too.
Do I think it's a positive change that they added this? Yes. Another Rev a day is more than we were getting before.
I don't speak for the expectations because they're rarely reasonable, especially after being set by something that was broken.
