Absorbing man is the better of those two to awaken if you want to invest time into learning how to play him

It doesnt really matter. You SHOULD/MUST/WILL transition to 6* champs in a couple of months. Like 3-4 months max. All 5* are trash. Like 4* and 3*. Dont think too much. You can close your eyes and blindly put 5* ag on anyone and it still shouldnt make a differance in 3-4 months.

P.s give AG to anyone who you NEED to progress in story mode. Thats your only goal. STORY MODE!

I would have to disagree with this statement about 5*, 5* arent useless or "trash" until you have nearly every 6* i recently R5 my 5* omega red, good sig investment and an easy sig investment, 5* are easier to get max sig than 6* I've seen people still use 5* in EOP many times, I still use my 5* doom all the time same with my 5* hercules, my point being 5* are very helpful until you have nearly every 6* even then if you have a champ you really want as a 6* but you can't pull them your better off ranking the 5* because chances are it'll be hard to pull 1 specific champ as a 6*.

Depends on what you are working on...my alt is stuck at 6.2.2 because I don't have a counter for Mr. Sinister for example...

5* champs can still be plenty useful if you don’t have them in 6*. Pretty much all story and EQ content can be done by a well played top tier 5*, although obviously it is more challenging than with a 6* R3/R4.

    Specific to the OP’s request:
My personal POV is that Scorpion is the more broadly useful champ, although AM has lots of helpful utility also. AM requires more skill to fully utilize. I also think he benefits much more from his sig ability than Scorpion does, despite my liking Scorpion more overall.

So, if I just had one AG to use and I would use it on Absorbing Man.

Scorpion hands down unless you are extremely skillful with AbsMan then it depends on who else is on your roster.

This is wildly incorrect. While yes, I have focused my resources on six stars since ~November last year, I still rank up five stars on occasion.

I recently ranked up Nimrod, Namor, and Mr. Fantastic for their utility pieces. I still frequently use five stars in high level content (explored 8.1 using 5* Doom and Herc) and am currently acquiring excess resources to rank up a Zemo. I even used a five star Ultron last night to fight Superior Kang!

Five stars are not trash, and will continue to be usable (and useful!) for quite awhile in my opinion.

Absorbing Man and Scorpion are wildly full of utility, and also both great champs. If I hadn’t gotten so lucky pulling them both as six stars, I’d still be using my five star versions.

    Five stars forever!

Absorbing man, he really notices the increased duration of his forms makes him easier to play and the regen is very nice
