Thoughts on iHulk?

His kit just doesn't make sense to me. I've watched videos on him and even rotation guides. Is he actually practical to use? Or do ppl just use him to cheese stuff?

I did a brief rol ws fight with my unawakened 6* r1 lvl 1 iHulk:

I know I could've slow played the fight at the end to let his immortality refresh, and that way I wouldn't have died. But that's not fun tho is it xD.

Just want to gauge people's opinion of him. Why? Cuz I'm bored.

Good champ. Undervalued and underutilised. Much more than a cheese champ - insane survivability, but has a very high skill cap. I have pretty much mastered the big guy and he puts in a lot of work. His synergy with herc is very helpful. Yes, he does have his cons which makes him less appealing to many, but he's great overall.

I feel like the skill cap is mostly knowing how to manage his charges, like he just kills himself on 25 charges and doesn't really do much on like 1-5 charges. Also, what do u do when the immortality is on cooldown? My main turn off with this champ is mainly that phase, stalling/ slow playing for 50 secs is not my vibe.

So I want to love him so badly. I loved the immortal hulk comic, I LOVE his animations, I REALLY LOVE iBomb, and I have an awakened 6* iHulk. I’ve tried to love him. I’m still trying. I’m not saying he’s bad but I don’t enjoy his play style and he doesn’t really fill a need for my roster. I know some people have done awesome stuff with him and he looks so cool but he’s just not in my top 5 science list.

All you really needed to say. I like him myself, but I use other science champs a lot more.

If you’ve built up enough Gamma before going into immortality you don’t have to worry about slow playing him at all. Bear in mind that he cannot knock himself out with his rage damage, nor can he knock himself out with RECOIL damage. Add on the Herc Synergy if you want an added safety net when your immortality is on cool-down and you get +100% perfect block chance on parries, meaning you can’t get knocked out on a successful parry unless the defender has increased AAR.

Buddy Lee has a great rotation for iHulk that showcases how to manage the fight while immortality is on cool-down and prepares you for the next damage phase.

I never use him. Extremely reliant on luck to get timing right. I r3d him months ago thinking he would smash through content and the only thing he's reliable on is paradox debuffs with stuns.

Yes he doesn't take recoil or knock himself out, but he does still get his health pretty low. Perfect parries don't work on multi hit specials either.

I did check out the Buddy Lee video, sp3 definitely seems to be the way to go in the second phase, good to know.

His regen rate is not altered, so he is quite a niche in some of the contents, like spectre.
When duped he himself can place weakness/petrify so he can gain benefits of science-nodes in EQ.
One if the top-rank in base health, and increased attack rate on proportion to lost health allows him to just rampage through content.
The downside is… when you trigger immortality, but kill off the opponent before you trigger regen and lose 15charges… that’s really a bummer.

He will lose and gain health throughout the fight so unless you have absolute confidence in your play he might be a bit hard to manage. If you feel and enjoy the thrill of low health, he might be the go-to guy.
